My Mommie just spoke to my aunt and Albert is still having problems. He has lost 3 pounds and his sugar is still not regulated. My aunt recieved the glucometer(a machine to measure the amount of sugar in the blood.) that my Mommie sent her. Hopefully this will help. My aunt has also been in contact with our cousin who is a vet in Alabama. She has also been helpful to my aunt. Thanks to all of you who are praying for Albert. Oh Yeah they have also switched his insulin from Vetsulin to Human insulin NPH.

I just thought I would update all of you on Albert my dog cousin with the canine diabetes condition. He had been doing a little better but today his sugar was back up. My human aunt is getting very discouraged and sad. She isn't giving up though. My Mommie has been sendning her all kinds of papers about the condition  and has also put her in touch with a family member that is a Vet. Please keep Albert in your prayers.

Mommie knows that this is not a pet issue but since she feels that pet parents are some of the most caring and compassionate people on earth she wanted to share this.
