Almost the end of the week
Posted February 8, 2007 by Bennie
Well here it is Thursday already. My Mommy is excited because my Daddy is off from work today and she hopes that they will do something fun. They usually do, at least they do what the people kind think is fun. I'd rather shred paper. Oh you din't know about that? Check out my extra pics, you'll see what I mean. Now that's fun. Bennie

Tornados in Central Florida
Posted February 7, 2007 by Bennie

I am writing this to ask for eveyones prayers and thoughts for all the poor creatures displaced during the devastating tornadoes that came through our region last Friday night. I live in the Northeastern part of Volusia County here in Central Florida. Our area was spared the storm but our neighbors in the western part of the county were hit very hard. Many animals were lost and injured during these storms. The Humane Society is still assissting storm victims in the search for there lost pets and in the aftercare of these animals as many of the pet owners no longer have a home for these lovely animals. I remember how frightened I was during the Hurricanes of 2004. Three Hurricanes roared through our area within a 6 week time spam. Luckily we had warning and our owners were able to properly safegaurd us. Unfortunately there was very litlle warning about the tornados that affected so many. Lets hope that all lost animals are found and that homes are found for those left homeless. Bennie

A Cat Poem
Posted February 6, 2007 by Bennie

This is a poem my Mommy found and realy liked.

My Cat

You're lovable, playful,
intelligent, bright.
Sleepy by day
and active by night.
Gracefully beautiful,
impeccably groomed,
no need for fine feathers,
expensive perfumes.

Sultry, provocative,
seductive and more.
You're the one my heart
will always adore.
When the day has been bad
and life feels flat,
I return home
to my darling cat.

People who love animals
Posted February 6, 2007 by Bennie
I believe that there are two kinds of people those that love animals and those that don't. Those that do love us are those that are most likely to do all the good things in the world. Those that don't are not worth giving the time of day too. How can anyone not like us and be good for the world. My Mommy says that she won't even talk to someone who doesn't love us. She thinks that people need to be more like animals and than there would be less hatred in the world. I think she is right. What do you guys think? Bennie Tongue out
