We hope you are having a great week so far. We have just been playing with some of our new toys since it's been raining, thundering and lightning every day. Mom finished Harry Potter last night so we should have more play time with her. We hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

Hi Johann,

We had a very hot weekend, so we stayed inside most of the time. However, that does not mean that we didn't have any fun! We played with our toys and Mom got us some new bones that are minty and supposed to make our breath smell good. We didn't think our breath smelled anyways, but what do humans know? We hope you have a fabulous start to the week and a happy Monday!

Hello Friends,

We are hot, hot, hot here in South Florida today, but keeping cool in the air conditioning. Mom's not even letting us cats go outside because she's afraid that we will dehydrate. We hope you are keeping it cool and have a great weekend!

Hi Johann,

We're so sorry we haven't been on in awhile. Mom has been working some crazy hours trying to get a "deadline" met at work and wouldn't let us get on the computer alone.

Mom's finger is doing much better from Angelina's bite. We also think that Mom has talked Angelina's owner into not breeding her. We are hoping that he keeps his word cause we want her to have a happy rest of her life. She is so much happier back with her prior owner than she was with us. However, we have picked up some bad habits from her that Mom says we must now get out of unfortunately. Like whining for attention at nighttime when we are supposed to be asleep and barking when we don't get that attention and keeping Mom awake.

We hope everything is going well with you and your family. We've missed everyone here and can't tell you how much you all mean to us.

Hi Johann,

Sad news on our front. We have to give Angelina back to her former owner tonight. Mom took her to the vet on Saturday and she turned really vicious. They tried to put a muzzle on her to do her exam and couldn't even get a muzzle on her. She kept trying to bite everyone. Then when one of the vet techs finally got her to stand still and the vet listened to her heart, she said she has a heart murmur and on a scale of 1-6, the severity level is a 5. She isn't going to live a long life.

Since she's not fixed, she is considered a risk to go under anesthesia, but if she doesn't get fixed, she is at risk for some kind of cancer. Also, she would have to go on medicine for the rest of her life and the way she bites, it would be almost impossible to get medicine in her. It was gonna cost Mom over $1000.00 for just the first vet visit (shots, spaying, and all the heart tests and medicine) and then the vet said she was gonna say something that she hardly ever tells someone to do...She said she would recommend putting her down. Mom just couldn't do that and walked out crying. Then Angelina bit Mom's finger down to the bone when she got her home. She's a little angel one minute and a little devil the next. Mom's really sad, but she just couldn't make the decision about putting Angelina to sleep. So, she called her former owner and told him about what happened and he wants her back. We're kind of sad, but kind of relieved since we weren't getting along with her at all. Please pray for little Angelina as we say goodbye to her.

Hi Johann,

Here's news on our front...We found out that Angelina is not spayed so we're going to have to get her fixed. Her prior owner also didn't have a rabies tag for her so the poor thing is gonna have to get another rabies shot too. She goes in tomorrow morning and we get to go get groomed tomorrow. Mom is dropping us off right before she takes Angelina to the doggie doctor. She's still growling at us and doesn't want to stay around us yet. We are barking at her cause she is growling at us and it's about to make Mom crazy. So, she is keeping us apart except for little bits of time until we totally get used to each other.

Mom tried to get pics of all of us together but we weren't cooperating. So, here's the best of the lot. We did find out that Angelina seems to like to pose cause Mom got some cute ones of her by herself.

We have some exciting news for everyone! We've added another member to our Zoo!!!! Welcome Angelina to our PetsPlaces Family. Mommy just got her Monday night and has been busy trying to get us acquainted. Angelina was used to being an only pet and she is having to get used to all of us here at the Zoo. She is two years old and was on her way to a shelter when Mommy said she would take her on. It's a good thing too, cause she's a biter and you know what happens to biters at shelters!

Mommy's being real patient with her and hoping that she can teach her not to bite. At least she hasn't bitten one of us yet. Just growling at us so far and barking her little head off. She thinks she's the dominant one but we have to show her who's the boss!!! She's just a tiny little thing, even smaller than Mini and Pongo. So, without further ado...here's Angelina!
