Well, recovery is certainly slow from heartworm treatment. I don't feel like eating this week very much. Mom said she read that this would happen while my body is cleansing the dead buggers. I go to the vet tomorrow afternoon to get a recheck on my ears so we will talk to them about this just to make sure it's normal. All I want to do is lay around in my bed. It's hard to even wag my tail right now.
Ok, back to bed. Just thought I'd update my recovery to everypup. In case anyone else ever needs to go through this they might know what to expect.
We have a new baby at our house. His name is Shilo. He's a 6 week old Shih Tzu baby. 
We'll add some pics as we can. He's so precious!
Yes, I have heartworms. It was a high reading too. I start my treatment on Monday. I'm not looking forward to 6-8 weeks of kennel life. But I don't want those dead/dying worms harming me while they're trying to leave my body, so it will be worh it in the end. But ya know what? I'M GONNA COMPLAIN A LOT, I just know it! 
I always do when I don't want to be in there.
