Coming out

My new mom took me out of my cage twice yesterday. Both times she gave me something yummy to eat. I really liked that strawberry!

This morning my mom kept sticking this thing in my cage. She was scouping up bedding and stuff from my potty corner. I wanted to see what she was using, but everytime I tried to grab it she would pull it away from me. Though I guess it wasn't all bad, she gave me some new hay and fresh water. I stuffed myself with the hay and got a few good drinks of water. There are some new pellets that don't taste too bad, but the hay is my new fav non-veggie or fruit food. My mom laughed at me when I was busy trying to eat as much hay as I could, she said I was going to pop.

Her mom gave me this green stuff, asparagus. It isn't very good, I liked the stuff she gave me yesterday better.

I got to go home with my new mommy today! She had come in to visit with me last Thurs, but some cat named Nezumi had to get a shot before I could go home with her.

Today she kept calling me "Mr Popular" and here's why...

When she walked in with my form in her hand and the paper that showed that cat had gotten her shot she saw the lady 2 infront of her with my adoption paper. She exclaimed about it, and after talking with the lady she decided to give me to my now mommy. She went in and held both Wilbur and Angel and decided to get Angel. She was talking about wanting something to hold in her lap, and Angel isn't overly curious as far as I can tell. My mommy's mom wheeked at me and it was fun having someone new to talk to!

The shelter said it was a new to have people fighting over guinea pigs.

My cage is sitting on the bed in their guest room right now, and my new mommy had to go to work. I got to smell the cat that needed the shot, but when my mommy left she closed the door to the room and kicked the cat out of the room.
