Hi Friends!!!!
Posted November 14, 2007 by MyersZoo

Hi PetsPlaces Friends,

We wanted to let you know that we've missed you this week. Our Mom is getting ready to go visit our cousins, sktrbuggie (aka The Holland Crew), for two weeks and she has to get herself, as well as us, ready for the time that she will be gone. We will have two sitters this time since it will be for such a long time and we wished we could sneak into her luggage and go with her. Hmmm...maybe that's not such a bad idea??? Think anyone would notice? BOL! We hope everyone is doing fine and will get lots of turkey and the trimmings at Thanksgiving dinner. We will try to get back on before Mom leaves, but it's been really hectic. We love you all! (Zoe especially sends special purrs of love and hugs to her special sweetie, JJ)

Figured It Out with Vista!
Posted October 28, 2007 by MyersZoo

Hi PetsPlaces Friends!

We just figured it out! We found out that if we go through Firefox instead of Internet Explorer, we can use the attach and edit buttons with Vista! Yeah!!!! So, if anyone else hasn't figured out the problem, there you go! For those of you that unaware, any new computer that you buy has the Vista operating system on it now instead of the Windows Operating system. You have to request Windows special to have it installed now. However, if you buy your computer out of a store or get it as a gift, as we did, then you really don't have a choice. It's a learning process but there are a lot of cool things with it.

Vista Problems...Anyone Else?
Posted October 26, 2007 by MyersZoo

Hi PetsPlaces Friends,

Just a question for you...We just got a new computer and of course it has Vista instead of the Windows operating system. We can no longer see anything when we click on the windows to change the text color, add pictures to contests or get anything with the html box. We can still leave messages, but can't change anything on our page anymore either. Is anyone else having this problem? If so, have you figured out what to do?

Thanks in advance!

We're Gone, But Not Out!!!!
Posted October 11, 2007 by MyersZoo

Hi PetsPlaces Friends,

We just wanted to let you know that our computer is broken at home and that's why we haven't been on in awhile. Our Mom is sneaking on at work right now to let you know for us so no one gets worried about us. We're sorry it's been so long and we should have thought of it sooner! We should be back soon since our new computer is on its way!

Quick Note to our Friends...
Posted September 11, 2007 by MyersZoo

Hi PetsPlaces Friends,

As many of you know, our Mom was on vacation last week. She went back to work this week and got slammed! So, we haven't been able to get on for a few days. We just wanted to let you know that we haven't forgotten you and that we are okay! Just unfortunately, haven't had alot of timeHappy We are remembering our fallen heroes this day, just like many others and pray that another disaster like that never happens again.

What the flag represents:

The background

  • The blue on each side of the flag represents the color of the state flags for each state where a plane was downed - New York, Pennsylvania & Virginia.
  • The black in the center of the flag represents the sorrow we feel for the innocent lives lost from this tragedy: those on the planes, those working in the towers, the Pentagon, and the rescue workers whom lost their lives during the rescue.

The stars

  • The stars represent the 4 planes that crashed and the innocent lives lost on those planes and in the buildings.
  • The blue star represents the Pentagon & American Airlines Flight 77, and for the innocent passengers and the lives lost in the Pentagon.
  • The 2 white stars represent each of the towers at the World Trade Center, American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175, the innocent passengers on those flights, the lives lost (both those in the buildings and the rescue workers) and those that survived.
  • The red star represents United Flight 93 that crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, the innocent passengers, and those who sacrificed their lives to protect the loss of other innocent lives.
  • The color of the stars (red, white & blue) is representation of our United States flag.
  • All 4 stars are touching, as well as the 2 white stars to touch the blue in the flag - this represents our 'unity' in the United States.
