Hi friend! We are having another heat wave here in the Atlanta area. It cooled down for a day and now we are back worse than before! I guess summer will be over before too much longer, then I can complain about something else! Haha! I hope you are having a great Wednesday!

Hi there, it's Diego here! I am back for good from the "Doggie Hotel" where I stayed off and on all summer. Since school started back up and my human sister had to go back to school, my Mommy won't be traveling all over the country with my Daddy for his job anymore, untill Spring Break and Summertime, again! I am so happy to be back with my family and to get to be on the computer with all my Pet Friends again! I missed everyone very much and now I want to catch up with what is going on with everyone! I had a lot of fun at the "Doggie Hotel" and I made a lot of new friends, but my old friends here at Pets Places are the best friends ever! I hope you had a great summer and are having a good weekend, too.

Hi there! This is Sophie here, today. I had a bad day because Momma decided it was bath time for me. I do NOT like water! Momma got out the garden hose and took me out on the deck and tried squirting me to wet me down. I ran all over the deck and Momma was chasing me everywhere! She can't hold me by the collar because I am too big and strong and I would pull her down, so we just ran all over the place. I think that is the most exercise that Momma has had in a long time. Even Sam and Poppa and Momma got soaked! The shampoo part was nice, though, and it felt like I was getting petted all over. Then the bad part again....the rinsing off with the hose....so more running around and getting chased! I wore Momma out....hahaha....and I even heard that tomorrow it will be Keesie's turn! She doesn't put up a fight though, she's kinda wimpy and just stands still....in the bath tub, even. She has no spunk, like Sam and I. Well, after the drenching, we had to stay outside untill we dried off, which wasn't that long in this heat.

Not much new today,,,A little cooler, but high humidity with showers. The rain can only help with the forest fire. Still, Rainy Days and Mondays Always Get Me Down and this is a double dose!

Hi Steel,
I will be chillaxin' today....it is pretty warm outside. The A.C. is looking pretty good right now to me(Keesie). The Himalayan is up in the window in the sunny spot, though. B.J. likes the warmth of the sun through the window on his fur, no matter how hot it is outside! Little Bit is back out on the prowl outside, no telling what trophies he will bring to the house today....yuk! The other two dogs are out on the deck for a little while getting fresh air. I can hear them barking at people who are walking their dogs down the road. They don't like trespassers in their territory, and they think the whole road is their private territory! I am the smart one here. I can have the laptop all to myself while they are out being crazy, loudmouth dogs! WOOF WOOF!

Hi Steel!
How are things going for you in your part of the world? We had a little rain this morning and it cooled the air down nicely so Momma turned off the A.C. and opened the windows and turned on the attic fan. There is a really cool breeze blowing in the windows, so that is where I am staying all day long! Sophie is laying around out on the deck. She loves being outside as much as possible. Sam is laying wrapped around Momma's feet....that's his favorite thing to do. He follows Momma around every step she takes. He is pretty spoiled, we other Pets think. The cats are doing nothing important, as usual, except for Little Bit, the outside cat. He caught a chipmonk and brought his trophy up on the deck for Momma and Poppa, and as usual, Momma got all upset about her killing a "yard pet", but Poppa always tells her that it is just the nature of a cat to hunt. Well that is about all that is going on around here today. We hope you have a happy and safe Friday the 13th!

Hi there! This is Diego here, on the Puter for a short time. I will be back at the end of summer when my mommy and daddy get back from traveling together for daddy's job. I am staying at a "Boarding School" here in Atlanta for the summer, and only get to come home every few days in between my parent's trips. I miss all the pets here on Pets Places and I think about you guys a lot, so don't give up on me....I will be back soon.
