When Bittie was only two years old,she had contracted a very bad viral infection that was going around at my local vet.At first i didn't know it but,it got so bad that she was deathly ill.She was vomiting,her stool was bloody,wouldn't eat or drink,lost alittle weight...the poor thing couldn't even hold her own head up.It was a pet parent's worse nightmare.I didn't know what exactly to do so i started giving her round the clock care until the vet could see her.I fed her babyfood through a syringe(that was all she could eat)cleaned up her messes that she'd make,i had to lay a mattress on the floor next to her because,she couldn't jump or could barely walk.I barely got any sleep for the whole weekend.That monday morning..it got worse.She was barely breathing,couldn't keep her eyes open,felt completely lifeless.My heart sank and my whole body trembled with the thought that i was losing her.So,my mom called daddy at work and he came home right away and i wrapped her up in her favorite blanket and rushed her to the vet where,they immediately began giving her fluids through iv's and put her in quarratine overnight.I didn't eat or sleep that night,my only thought was to get on my knees and ask God to please let her make it through the night.The next morning..i got my miracle..she was alive and barking her little head off as if she were saying mommy,can we go home now?"Again,my heart sank..God had answered my prayer and...i realized i had fought so hard to keep my baby girl alive.So,i didn't give up on her then and im not giving up on her now.God will give me another miracle..i just know it.With my grandmother's passing,the very next night she was born as,it she was born just for me.Again,thanks for all your support and prayers...love,Candace xoxo

Bittie has been spotted!

Thank you all for your kind words and i just got some good news this morning~ the next two streets over from where i live...a few people have seen her running around with another chihuahua and we think he's male because she can go in heat at any time now or,she is already in heat.That brought a smile to my face because i have proof she is alive.Me and my husband have been looking everyday and we are one step closer to finding her or,who has her.Mostly everyone knows of her and also knows who she belongs too but,for the people who don't know that her owners are looking for her may not want to give her back(even if it means losing out on the reward)Someone will snitch on someone soon and when they do,the cops will be called and Bittie will be with us again.I can hardly wait for that moment to come...it's a dream that will come true.Well,i'll post another blog soon because i know her friends must be anxious to know what's going on.Love,Bittie and mom xoxo

Day 3...still no Bittie

I am writing a blog and will keep everyone informed about our little girl.I think everyone here at PP deserves to know about the steps that i have taken to get Bittie's name out that she is missing and that me and my community~ as well as family and friends,are looking for her every single day.It doesn't get any easier for me but,it does put me one step closer to finding her and bringing her home.The very first day(night)she ran away was not as hard as it was the next morning...i thought that she would come home.And when she didn't,that's when it hit me and my whole world came crashing down.It was...is....a nightmare im hoping and praying that will end.So i will continue to look as long as it takes and do everything i can to find her, as God is with me and He will make a miracle happen for me.I believe so strongly that my little girl is alive and heathly and that she is just around the corner or the next house across the road.I really do appreciate all the the thoughts and prayers from everyone and with all the love and support i have gives me more strength to go on believing that i will have my Bittie back in my arms again soon...it's just a matter of time.I love you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart.Love,Bittie and mom xoxo

Im sorry i have not been on to bark with all my friends but monday,one of my bestest furriends from pkp(she also had an account here)went to rainbow bridge and i real sad.I found out tuesday.She died in her sleep in her mommy's arms. *sobs It still hurts very much when i think about her but,i know that she's with my husband(March 9,2009...1 day before our wedding anniversary)*sobs and sniffles* and my Uncle Quack(Sept 29,2008)I will ALWAYS love them!!
