My name is Nicholas. But I seem to have MANY different names from my humans. I'll answer to Nick, Nicky, Bubba, Boobah, Big Man, Fat Boy, and on and on...I'll answer to just about anything! I am 12 years old, which in doggy years makes me a very old man...And, boy do I act like it! I am the oldest pet in the house, so I have a lot of responsibilty...That's why I am the one who got the web page...I'll introduce you to my brothers and sisters, and my humans. I have a little dachshund sister, Dottie. She's almost 6. She's a pest, but I put up with her because she's family. I have a "big" little brother, Chainey. He's 8 and he's a Black Lab. I have two winged siblings also. They're both parakeets. We got my sister, Rudy first, and then a short time later, my brother Fred. The newest addtions to my family are my favorite! (I shouldn't say that.) Cocoa and Puff are my new guinea pig babies. Puff doesn't seem to like me, but she'll come around. They've only lived here about a month. Cocoa, on the other hand is my new buddy...Boy, do I have a lot of things to teach her! Especially teaching her that my tail is not a chew thing!...I also have some fishy friends, but they're so uninteresting to me, that I don't have much to do with them. My humans think I'M lazy, cause I like to sleep a lot, but goodness, how lazy and boring of a life to just swim around ALL the time...And then, there's my humans. I couldn't ask for a better family! First, there's Linda. She's my "mama". Then Michael, my big brother. We've been through a lot together over the years. And last but not least, there's Melissa. She joined our family about 4 years ago. I heard the humans say something about her being Michael's wife, but I'm not quite sure what that is. I don't care...I just know she gives the best "Bubba Lovin's" around! It sounds like we have a house full, but I'm pretty content...
