Hi I am Peanut--I am an 8 year old F4 bengal kitty. I have been with my Mom and Dad for about 2 years--they drove 4 fours to Maryland to adopt me from my previous owner who decided to get rid of me. I have a three year old sis named Cheyanne--she is a lab mix. Back in October 2006 I got two toes on my right from paw amputated as I had lymphoma--but my vets got it all and I go through chemo treatments once a week. So I am back on the mend, all over the place and into everything. :)
Wow! Me and Mommy haven't been on here in a LONG time! A little update on me. I'm Grrreat! I have a little sister now. She's one and her name is Tilly. She LOVES to antagonize me... Sugarplum isn't with us anymore. :( I miss antagonizing him. Other then that not much else has changed. Tilly has her own page now. Feel free to had her. She's a good lil bugger.. Sorry we haven't been around too much but this computer war at our house is out of control!
We learned that new brother's BD was 4/22 and we are still waiting for him to be weaned. We should all get to meet when Human Sissy brings him to our home in July!
Horrors!!! Horrors!!! She got me! Tonight it was my turn to be groomed for the first time since Mommy got ill. I hated it and let her know. I growled, hissed, then nipped her arm. All of you who have been my friends for a while know what happened next. That's right! She put the "head" on me (E-Collar). She said my private parts smelled bad from peeing on her bed linens and sitting in it. The urine was absorbed into my fur. I should know better than to fight her. She always wins. I must admit I do look handsome now with my fur all fluffed out. This exhausted me so I say bedtime for Kyan!

Mommy has been very sick. The doctor said for her to go to the hospital. She was worried because there was no one to care for me and the other cats. No one was available to drive her. For several days she was like this:
Once a day she managed to get up just to give us dry food and fresh water.
She was too weak to bring litter into the house from her car or even to scoop our pans. She put some fresh pine litter in a few pans and continued to sleep.
We played a little bit. My favorite was the paper shopping bag.
But mostly we just slept along with Mommy and watched Mommy,
We also sat in the windows and slept,
Mommy had to take some medicine every 12 hours. We would wait for her to get up for that.
There were a few thunderstorms with lightening while Mommy was sleeping. They were a bit scary, so I stayed nest to Mommy and looked at the TV. Mommy would fall asleep with it on. The electric went off for a couple of seconds.
Mommy knows she has to go to the specialist and go to the hospital to have procedures done, Mommy said they will knock her out for them. Won't that hurt Mommy? She just does not want to hear that "C" word again.
Mommy finally got up on Monday. She could not salvage our litter pans so started them all fresh. She had bought some new food. She finally could get it out of the car and bring it in. So far. everyone seems to like it.
She did not groom any of us while she was so sick. She is trying to get caught up with that now. I hope I am not next.
I guess Mommy will eventually get caught up with things around here.
Mommy says thank you to everyone who sent her get well wishes. It is so nice to have such good friends.
Well, it is almost wake up time. So stretch and wake up those pretty eyes of yours.
