Sonato and I have been together for about 4 or 5 months now I was leasing a little TB gelding before i bought him but when it came to the 3ft 6in jumps he was realllllly having to stretch to make the jump and it was worrying me because if he fell it could be really dangerous so i convinced my parents to but me a horse, i am a teenager and my high school doesn't let me have a job so they would have to pay for most of it it was a real stretch for them but the finally gave in. one month after i bought him i decided to try to go to a show so i went to the great south west classic show that was being held in katy that month. He went in fine the first day at jumpers and we got a blue ribbon in our blue ribbon round but after that we had two refusals in every round in the jumper ring. I also do Equitation and Hunters so we entered those and ended up with every ribbon from 2nd to 8th and ribboned in every class. so we brought him back and we have been working on de-spooking him, we put streamers on jumps and we put on foil and hoola hoops and all sorts of stuff. Our barn, tally ho farms, hosts two shows a year one is in Feb. so i am going to inter him in the top level equitation (3ft-3ft3in) and the top level jumpers (3ft6in) and two money award classics one for equitation the other for jumpers. I am really excited and hope that it works out I really love him and i love his personality. He has this little quark where he sucks on his tounge and it sounds like he is blowing a rasberry
